Reports from Israel’s Channel 12 indicate that rocket alerts have been triggered in the Upper Galilee, specifically in the vicinity of Hatzor HaGlilit and Amuka, following a rocket attack.

According to Abdolmohar Mohammadkhani, a spokesperson for the mayor of Tehran, the city’s housing sector has been severely impacted by recent attacks, with 33,000 homes sustaining varying degrees of damage. Mohammadkhani noted that the extent of the damage ranges from minor issues such as broken glass, doors, and windows to more extensive repairs requiring major reconstruction or full renovation.

As a result, approximately 1,869 families are currently facing housing challenges, with around 1,245 having been relocated to 23 designated residential complexes. Mohammadkhani further stated that repair efforts have commenced on over 4,000 residential units, with municipal authorities either undertaking the work or providing financial support.

In response to a warning from US President Trump that Iran must agree to a deal within two to three weeks or face strikes on its power plants, Iran’s foreign ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei has issued a stern rebuke. According to Baghaei, Iran will not stand idly by as the conflict continues to escalate, describing the ongoing situation as a catastrophic threat not only to Iran, but to the entire region and beyond.

Baghaei emphasized that Iran will continue to defend itself as long as US-Israeli strikes persist, and reiterated the country’s commitment to maintaining good relations with its Gulf neighbours. However, he also accused the US and Israel of exploiting these territories to launch military aggression against Iran, describing the conflict as an unjust war imposed on the Iranian people.

A deadly air strike has ravaged a residential building in the Lebanese town of Kfar Sir, resulting in the tragic loss of at least three lives, according to the Lebanese National News Agency. The agency also confirmed reports of aerial bombardments in the nearby towns of Yatar, Harouf, and Zibdine. This latest escalation comes as Israeli forces continue to intensify their military campaign in Lebanon, coinciding with the ongoing conflict in Iran and a ground invasion into southern Lebanon.

In a recent 24-hour period, Iraq’s Popular Mobilisation Forces (PMF) have come under fire from strikes carried out by the US and Israel, targeting units under the command of the PMF’s Nineveh Operations Command. The PMF is a significant paramilitary force within Iraq’s military, comprising some brigades aligned with Iran.

The relentless Israeli military campaign in southern Lebanon has resulted in a significant surge in casualties, with the death toll reaching 1,318 on Wednesday, including 125 children. The number of wounded in the past four weeks is rapidly approaching 4,000. A heart-wrenching incident occurred in the Nabatiyeh district, where a family of four was tragically killed in an airstrike. The victims consisted of a father, his mother, and their two young daughters.

Hezbollah has continued to assert its military presence, claiming to target Israeli troops operating within Lebanon. The militant group has focused its operations on the town of Antara, where they have been launching rocket and drone attacks against Israeli forces. Such an act, were it to be carried out, would likely constitute genocide under international law. However, neither the threat nor America’s willingness to engage in such a campaign are novel developments. The expression ‘reduced to a state of utter devastation’ is often attributed to Curtis LeMay, a US Air Force officer who oversaw the destruction of Japanese cities during World War II. In the early 1950s, US-led forces conducted a carpet bombing campaign against North Korea, resulting in the destruction of 95 percent of its power generation capacity and more than 80 percent of its buildings. LeMay later advocated for the US to bomb Vietnam back to a ‘state of utter devastation’ during the war in Southeast Asia. In 1972, US President Richard Nixon ordered the carpet bombing of North Vietnam, which was marketed to the American public as the ‘Christmas bombing’ campaign. Following the September 11 attacks, the US threatened to reduce Pakistan to a ‘state of utter devastation’ if it did not join the war against the Taliban, according to then-Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf.

Iran’s Khatam-al Anbiya military command headquarters is dismissing the notion that the US and Israel have a comprehensive understanding of the country’s military capabilities, vowing to escalate hostilities until its adversaries submit to a decisive defeat.

According to a statement carried by the Tasnim news agency, a spokesperson for the command emphasized that the US and Israel’s knowledge of Iran’s military prowess is woefully inadequate. “Your grasp of our military capabilities and resources is superficial,” the spokesperson declared. “You are oblivious to the full extent of our strategic capabilities.”

The spokesperson also downplayed the significance of the military sites targeted by the US and Israel, describing them as “insignificant” and “far from the epicenter of our military production.” He claimed that Iran’s strategic military production takes place in secret locations that remain unknown to the US and Israel.

The statement concluded with a warning of intensified and devastating military actions, with the spokesperson vowing to continue the conflict until the “permanent, definitive, and final surrender” of the US and Israel.
