Drones Strike Oil Facility in Iraq’s Kurdish Territory
Reports from the ground confirm that a drone assault has hit the Sarsang oilfield in Duhok province, a part of Iraq’s autonomous Kurdish region. Eyewitness accounts corroborate the incident, which was also independently verified by security sources speaking to Reuters news agency. The sources attributed the attack to a drone strike. This latest incident comes on the heels of a previous assault on an oil storage facility in Erbil, the regional capital, as per the National Iraqi News Agency.
