Iran’s coach Carlos Queiroz has laid into a British journalist Shaimaa Khalil for asking him a question regarding the protests in the country. The former Manchester United assistant coach was quick to bring in other political disputes to show the hypocrisy in the western world.
“Why don’t you ask the other coaches? Why don’t you ask Southgate: what do you think of England and the United States that left Afghanistan and all the women alone?” Queiroz replied.
