Sakardu (Razaqseer) – Director of Education, Baltistan Region, Abdul Wahab stated that teachers and the community are mutually essential, and the services of the supporting foundation are commendable. He expressed these views during the closing ceremony of a three‑day life‑skill‑based education training session for community teachers organized by the foundation. Wahab noted that the government faces various challenges today, but the foundation’s collaboration with the government plays a crucial role in reducing the public sector’s burden in education, yielding positive impacts on the education system. He praised foundation Chairman Asif Sandila, honored his dedication, and thanked him for his sincerity and love for the people of Baltistan.
Speaking at the event, Ahang Organization’s Head Trainer Nazo Peerzada highlighted that her institute trains teachers nationwide, yet the enthusiasm and curiosity of Baltistan teachers are exemplary. She emphasized that these teachers are not only hardworking but also empathetic toward students, urging participants to apply the knowledge and experience gained during the three‑day training in their schools to benefit as many students as possible.
Regional Manager of the foundation, Naeela Yasmin, said the organization aims to provide quality education facilities to children living in remote areas of Baltistan. She added that, thanks to Chairman Asif Sandila’s special attention, the educational standards of community schools across Baltistan are comparable to any urban institution. Yasmin reported that more than 60 teachers from 30 community schools in various Baltistan regions have completed the three‑day life‑skill‑based education training. The trained teachers expressed that the program equipped them with new information and practical skills they were previously unaware of, and they thanked the foundation, Ahang Organization’s trainers, and the administration.
