Gilgit: The Karakoram Highway (N-35) remains closed for all types of traffic at Location 511 near Parri Bangla, Gilgit, following landslides triggered by heavy rainfall.
According to the latest road update, travelers are advised to avoid the affected section until clearance operations are completed.
For light vehicles only, traffic may use the Chamughard Road as an alternative route connecting towards the Jaglot–Skardu Road (JSR). Heavy vehicles are advised to wait for further updates until the road is cleared.
Motorists are requested to travel with caution, remain alert, and follow the instructions issued by the relevant authorities.
