Multiple Cities Across Iran Suffer Under US-Israeli Aerial Assaults

A thick plume of smoke hangs over the Iranian capital, Tehran, as a result of a recent wave of attacks. The vicinity of Mehrabad Airport is one of the areas affected, with the airport itself appearing to have narrowly escaped a direct hit. However, the nearby Sharif University was not so fortunate, having a gas substation in its vicinity targeted in the assault. Although the university itself was not directly struck, the surrounding area is now shrouded in smoke. Overnight, Tehran has borne the brunt of numerous attacks, with multiple cities across the country also coming under fire.

Reports indicate that at least 12 cities have been targeted in the past few hours, including Bandar Abbas, where an airport was hit, Ahvaz, Mahshahr, Bandar-e Lengeh, Shiraz, Isfahan, Karaj, Qom, and Kong City. In Qom, the strikes resulted in the loss of five lives, while six people were killed and 17 injured in Kong City. The increasing number of cities under attack and the rising civilian casualties are a grim reminder of the escalating situation.
