Following reports of an assault on the South Pars petrochemical complex in Asaluyeh, Iran, Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz has publicly acknowledged his country’s involvement in the operation.
According to Katz, Israel’s military conducted a significant assault on the South Pars facility, which is situated in Asaluyeh and accounts for roughly 50 percent of Iran’s petrochemical output.
