For the second time today, the King Fahd Causeway, a vital transportation artery connecting Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, has been shut down to traffic due to heightened security concerns in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province, as per official statements.
Following a brief resumption of operations earlier, the bridge was once again closed, this time as a precautionary response to recent incidents in the region, specifically the Iranian attacks on Eastern Province.
