A high-ranking Israeli military operation in Beirut resulted in the death of Ali Yusuf Harshi, a trusted confidant and personal aide to Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem. According to a military release, Harshi was a close associate and key advisor to Qassem. The operation also targeted two strategic river crossings over the Litani River and Hezbollah’s infrastructure in southern Lebanon.
