Babusar Highway has been reopened for traffic following the restoration of the temporary bridge at Lushi (Naran). At present, the route from Zero Point to Babusar Top is completely clear.
Meanwhile, restoration work on the Karakoram Highway is progressing rapidly. A bulldozer has been dispatched to the Gini–Altshi area for clearance operations, while the Shing Nala section has been reopened for traffic.
