According to unofficial and unconfirmed results from 49 of 50 polling stations, independent candidate Anwar Ali is maintaining a commanding lead in GBA-23 Ghanche-II with 12,090 votes.
Independent candidate Haji Abdul Hameed has secured 3,860 votes.
One polling station result is still awaited. The results remain unofficial and subject to final confirmation by the Election Commission.
