Rawalpindi: ISPR (Inter-Services Public Relations) has confirmed that India has fired missiles at three locations inside Pakistan: Muzaffarabad, Kotli, and Bahawalpur.
“India has launched a shameful and unprovoked attack. Pakistan will respond accordingly,” said DG ISPR.
According to the initial reports, 12 civilians injured and 3 civilians have been martyred as a result of the missile strikes. The DG ISPR added: “Pakistan is actively responding. Our aircraft are in the air.
India has attacked civilian targets in Muzaffarabad, Kotli (Azad Jammu and Kashmir) and Bahawalpur (Punjab). DGISPR has said that Pakistan’s armed forces will give a befitting response to the missile attack at a time of their choosing. The attack reportedly took place at around 1am, in the darkness of the night. “This cowardly and shameful attack was carried out from within India’s airspace. They were never allowed to come and intrude into the space of Pakistan”, the DG told the media. He further added that Pakistan will respond to this “at a time and place of its own choosing. This heinous provocation will not go unanswered.”
No Indian aircraft has entered Pakistani airspace. India has fired missiles from within its own territory, and this hostile act will be met with a strong and appropriate response.”
India’s Official Statement on the Attack New Delhi – Ministry of Defense: India claims that it has targeted nine locations under the operation codenamed “Operation Sindoor.” According to the Indian Ministry of Defense, the strikes were “carefully executed, limited in scope, and non-provocative,” and no Pakistani military installations were targeted. The Indian Defense Ministry stated that: “Extreme restraint was exercised in selecting targets and executing the operation. The action was in response to the brutal terrorist attack in Pahalgam, which killed 25 Indian citizens, including one Nepali national.” India further stated that it remains committed to holding the perpetrators accountable and that a detailed briefing on Operation Sindoor will be held this afternoon.
In a response Pakistani army has launched a counter-offensive. Pakistan has also shot down two Indian aircraft, the Pakistani army has destroyed the Indian Brigadier Headquarters۔
