According to Mohammad Elhadad, the chief executive of Iran’s state-run electricity provider Tavanir, the country’s power infrastructure is a vital lifeline for its citizens, serving solely to meet their needs.
As such, any deliberate assault on the electricity grid would constitute a grave war crime, Elhadad emphasized in a statement carried by Iran’s official news agency IRNA.
Tavanir is diligently working to safeguard the network and ensure continuity of service, with a 24/7 effort to prevent any disruptions.
