A recent phone conversation between Qatar’s top diplomat and his Iranian counterpart has shed more light on the escalating tensions in the region.
According to a Qatari Foreign Ministry statement, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Qatar’s prime minister and foreign minister, strongly criticized Iran’s ongoing attacks on Qatar and other Gulf nations, labeling them a blatant disregard for regional security.
