Freelance American journalist Shelly Kittleson has been taken from outside a Baghdad hotel on Tuesday, prompting a search operation by Iraqi authorities. According to the US State Department, a suspect apprehended in connection with the incident has alleged ties to the Kataib Hezbollah militia group, which has been linked to Iran.
