Pakistan’s PM Commends Saudi Arabia’s Composure in Call with Crown Prince MBS

In a phone conversation with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS), Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif voiced his support for Saudi Arabia following a surprise attack on its Jubail industrial complex. This assault occurred mere hours after an Israeli operation struck Iran’s largest petrochemical facility in Asaluyeh, significantly escalating the conflict. Sharif reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to Saudi Arabia, stating that the two nations stand united in the face of the crisis. Meanwhile, MBS expressed gratitude for Pakistan’s efforts in attempting to mitigate the escalating regional security situation. It is worth noting that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia had previously signed a mutual defence agreement last year.
