PSL 11 Emerging Team of the Tournament Unveiled

A talented group of young cricketers has been recognized for their outstanding performances in the Pakistan Super League (PSL 11), with the announcement of the Emerging Team of the Tournament. Sameer Minhas from Islamabad United takes the lead, having amassed 349 runs at a remarkable strike rate of 155.80. The batting lineup boasts notable players such as Shamyl Hussain of Quetta Gladiators and Maaz Sadaqat of Hyderabad Kingsmen. Karachi Kings’ Mirza Saad Baig has been selected as the wicketkeeper-batter, bolstering the top order. Farhan Yousuf of Peshawar Zalmi secured his spot following a remarkable season and exceptional fielding skills, which also earned him the captaincy of Pakistan at the ICC U19 World Cup 2026. Saad Masood of RawalPindiz has been included for his multifaceted contributions in the middle order. Hunain Shah of Hyderabad Kingsmen, who also made the main Team of the Tournament, joins the bowling unit, alongside Ali Raza of Peshawar Zalmi, who claimed the only hat-trick of PSL 11. Mohammad Ismail and Momin Qamar from Multan Sultans, along with Ubaid Shah of Lahore Qalandars, round out the bowling attack, providing a mix of variety and control. Mohammad Farooq of Lahore Qalandars has been named the 12th player, having featured in four matches and scored 87 runs, including one half-century.
