Asian Markets Surge Amid Trump’s Escalation Threats

Despite a tumultuous session on Wall Street, many of Asia’s key stock markets are experiencing a robust morning, with a notable exception in Hong Kong.
The Nikkei 225 in Japan has seen a significant increase of over 1 percent, while South Korea’s KOSPI has surged by more than 2 percent.
In contrast, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index has bucked the trend, dipping approximately 0.7 percent.
Meanwhile, in the US, the S&P 500 managed a modest gain of 0.11 percent at the close of Thursday’s trading, following Trump’s vow to escalate the conflict with Iran.
