Gancha Administrative Crackdown, Expired Goods Destroyed

Under the direction of Assistant Commissioner Gancha District Zahid Hussain, Tehsildar Ghawari, Food Inspector Zulfiqar and the Ghawari team carried out a detailed inspection of bakeries, general stores, hotels, tandoors, and vegetable‑fruit shops in Koro. The inspection revealed numerous shopkeepers not following SOPs and selling expired items, leading to strict warnings for several vendors. Inspectors firmly instructed shopkeepers, seized the expired stock and burned it, ordered improved shop cleanliness, demanded that food items be of standard quality and nutritious, required all workers’ medical certificates to be prominently displayed, ensured full compliance with issued SOPs, mandated clear expiry dates on bakery products, and prohibited the sale of any goods without an NOC. Daily checks will continue. The district administration emphasized that the public will always receive food and beverage items that meet quality and hygiene standards, and that legal action will be taken against any violations.
