Gilgit (P.R.) – Senior Gilgit‑Baltistan leader of the Pakistan People’s Party, Sobia Jabeen Mukaddam, said in a statement that the “War of Rights” is a shining chapter of our national history, when the nation demonstrated to the world that peoples who stand on truth, united by resolve and principles, always prevail. She noted that the conflict between Pakistan and India highlighted Pakistan’s defensive capability, strong strategy and national unity on the global stage. This success not only reinforced the country’s defence but also elevated Pakistan’s international stature, cementing its reputation as a dignified, self‑respecting state. The victory was both military and moral‑ideological, revitalising the nation’s spirit and teaching lessons of unity, sacrifice and steadfastness. Mukaddam affirmed that the Pakistan People’s Party has always championed democracy, public rights and national sovereignty, and will continue this struggle. She pledged that in the June 2026 Gilgit‑Baltistan elections the party will win, further strengthen the region and bring genuine prosperity to the people’s lives. She added that these goals will be achieved under the leadership and supervision of Amjad Hussain, President of the Pakistan People’s Party Gilgit‑Baltistan, with public support and national backing, establishing a strong, people‑friendly system of governance. In conclusion, she reiterated the commitment to keep Pakistan on the path of development, stability and prosperity by adhering to truth, justice and democratic principles.
