Ganchi (special representative) Pakistan Peoples Party constituency number 1 Ganchi’s nominated candidate Dr. Aashiq Hussain and former Chief Engineer Nazir Hussain made a special visit to Selang’s areas Mahallah Gongmayar and Bua Mali Krong, where they met local elders, respected personalities and various families. During the visit, the locals gave the two leaders a warm welcome, scattering flower petals to express their love and confidence. Several political and social figures praised Dr. Aashiq Hussain’s leadership, calling him a hope for solving the region’s problems. In conversations, local elders said the people of Selang now want development, prosperity and basic services, and that Dr. Aashiq Hussain is the leader who can meet public expectations. They pledged full support for the Pakistan Peoples Party candidate in the upcoming elections and assured every possible cooperation for victory. Former Chief Engineer Nazir Hussain, speaking at the event, said ending the area’s backwardness is a pressing need and that the Pakistan Peoples Party is the only party taking serious steps to address public issues. He urged party workers to go house‑to‑house to spread the party message and inform the public about the party manifesto. Dr. Aashiq Hussain thanked the locals, elders and youth, stating that their strong trust and affection boost his morale. He said that if the public gives him the chance to serve, development projects, basic facilities, education, health and employment issues in the constituency will be prioritized. He added that the Pakistan Peoples Party has always been the champion of public rights and will continue its service journey in line with public aspirations.
