Comprehensive Security, Traffic, and Medical Facilities Plan Prepared for Taos Yasin Visitor Site; Gilgit Commissioner Visits

Commissioner Touqeer Haider Kazmi of the Gilgit region conducted a detailed inspection of the Taos Yasin visitor site in anticipation of Prince Rahim Aga Khan’s upcoming visit to Hazainz. Accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Ghizer, SP Ghizer, Additional Deputy Commissioner Gupis Yasin, and other senior district officials, the delegation reviewed current arrangements, security measures, and public amenities. The President of the Ismaili Regional Council, Sartaj Wali, welcomed the commissioner and his team. During the visit, Convener of Public Safety and Security, Muhammad Aslam, briefed the commissioner on the comprehensive security plan, traffic management, cleanliness, volunteer services, parking, medical facilities, and public guidance initiatives. He noted that multiple committees are actively preparing to ensure a smooth and trouble‑free experience for the public during Prince Rahim Aga Khan’s arrival. Commissioner Kazmi expressed satisfaction with the preparations, praised the efforts of relevant agencies, volunteers, and administrative committees, and instructed all agencies to coordinate closely to guarantee public convenience, safety, and uninterrupted traffic flow during the visit. He ordered the completion of the Tali Das road by May 18 and announced daily monitoring by the Ghizer administration until the work is finished, with a follow‑up inspection scheduled for May 18. A control room, including a council representative, will be established to oversee security arrangements on the day of the Hazainz visit. The district administration of Ghizer is taking extensive measures to provide all necessary facilities for this important event, ensuring the visitor program proceeds peacefully, orderly, and successfully.
