GILGIT: President of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in Gilgit-Baltistan, Hafiz Hafeez-ur-Rehman, has rejected the Pakistan Peoples Party’s claim of securing a majority in the Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly elections.
Speaking to journalists, he said PML-N has secured six directly elected seats and also has pre-election alliances with two winning independent candidates.
Hafiz Hafeez-ur-Rehman said that with the support of allied independents and other like-minded members, his party is in a position to form the next government in Gilgit-Baltistan.
