Allama Iqbal Airport Launches Hajj Flights Under Makkah Road Initiative

Allama Iqbal International Airport in the provincial capital has begun a series of Hajj flights under the Makkah Road Initiative. Pilgrims are being provided with complete travel services within Pakistan, from Hajj visa issuance and biometric verification to immigration clearance. Flights are departing for King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah and Prince Muhammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Medina. Prior to departure, medical requirements are checked and luggage is coded. The Ministry of Religious Affairs states that the Makkah Road Initiative aims to offer fast, convenient, and high‑quality travel for pilgrims, and upon arrival in Saudi Arabia, they will be transferred to their accommodations without delay.
