A 7.8 magnitude earthquake hits the levant and Turkey killing thousands of people and collapsing buildings. According to Aljazeera the earthquake hits the southern Turkey and Syria and killed 360 people. The buildings are collapsed and people are moving from the affected areas. The Guardian reported that death toll rises to 284 in Turkey and injured more than 2000 people. According to Turkish media, the search and rescue teams are dispatched to the earthquake hits areas in Turkey. There were six aftershocks and people are advised by the Turkish government not to enter the damages buildings.
The quake also hits Cyprus, Iraq, Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine and Israel. The earthquake hits Lebanon at 03:00 AM local time. Most people evacuated buildings and moved to safe places.
