US television reported, citing Iranian sources, that the second round of negotiations between the United States and Iran will take place on Tuesday in Pakistan. According to CNN, the United States has not officially confirmed the negotiation schedule. The first round of talks between Pakistan and the United States was held in Islamabad. The US delegation was led by Vice President JD Vance, accompanied by Donald Trump’s son‑in‑law Jared Kushner and Trump’s special aide Steve Wotkoff. The Iranian delegation was headed by Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, with Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi also in attendance. After the Islamabad talks, both delegations agreed on several issues and expressed willingness to meet again.
