Supreme Judicial Council decides to act on complaints against its own members

The Supreme Judicial Council has decided to take action on complaints lodged against its own members. The council met under the chairmanship of Chief Justice of Pakistan Yahya Afridi, and a press statement was issued. According to the council’s meeting release, a total of 23 complaints were considered during the session. All matters listed on the agenda under Article 209 of the Constitution were resolved, and the council resolved to act on the complaints against its members. The release noted that the Chief Justices of the Lahore High Court and the Islamabad High Court participated in the meeting.
