US Crude Oil Prices Surge Following Attack on Kuwaiti Vessel

West Texas intermediate crude, the US benchmark, has climbed 3.4 percent to over $106 a barrel after Kuwait announced that one of its oil tankers was struck by Iran in Dubai Port, as reported by Bloomberg.
As previously noted, US crude oil closed at more than $100 a barrel for the first time since 2022 on Monday.
