Central and Southwestern Iran Hit by Coordinated US-Israeli Strikes on Steel Facilities

Reports from Iranian media indicate that US-Israeli strikes have resulted in significant damage to steel production units in central and southwestern Iran. The strikes, which appear to have been a coordinated effort, have left production units severely impacted at key facilities.

According to an initial assessment by the Mobarakeh Steel Company, one of Iran’s largest steel producers, the strikes caused widespread destruction and damage to its production units in the central province of Isfahan. The company’s subsidiary, Sefid Dasht Steel, located in the southwestern Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, also suffered damage and incurred losses.

The strikes targeted multiple facilities, including the Mobarakeh Steel Company complex in Isfahan and Khuzestan Steel factories in southwestern Iran, on Friday. Steel is a critical material essential for various industrial and military applications, including the production of missiles, drones, and ships.
