Iran Foreign Minister Denies Missile Allegations Against Turkiye

Iran’s Foreign Minister Araghchi has dismissed as entirely unfounded reports that Tehran launched missiles at Turkiye and proposed a joint investigation into the matter.
In a phone call with his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan, Araghchi cautioned against “false-flag operations by adversaries” and stated that Iran was prepared for collaborative technical cooperation to assess any potential claim, according to a statement from the Iranian foreign ministry.
On Monday, Turkey’s defence ministry announced that NATO forces had intercepted a new missile fired from Iran – the fourth since the outbreak of the Middle East conflict.
