Iranians Mobilize Against US Threats at Power Plants

Iranian Deputy Youth and Sports Minister Alireza Rahimi has issued a rallying call for citizens, encompassing youth, artists, and athletes, to assemble in human chains at power plants nationwide at 2pm local time (10:30 GMT) tomorrow in response to the US’s looming threats against these facilities. In a social media post, Rahimi emphasized, “United in solidarity, we will assert that targeting public infrastructure constitutes a grave war crime.” This statement comes in the wake of President Trump’s warnings to strike Iranian civilian infrastructure, including bridges and power plants, unless the Strait of Hormuz is fully reopened.
