Iran’s Foreign Minister Doubts US Ground Operation Plans

Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has informed Al Jazeera that the Iranian armed forces are not intimidated by the possibility of a US ground operation.
“We are prepared to face them,” he stated. “I don’t believe they would be bold enough to undertake such a move. There will be significant force waiting for them,” added Araghchi.
“However, we are not the aggressors in this conflict. We defended ourselves and did so with determination,” he continued.
“The losses the US has incurred in their assets, personnel, radars in the region, and aircraft, including their AWACS aircraft and refueling tankers, are well-documented.
“We are confident in our ability to defend ourselves. In a ground war, we would be even more effective. We are fully prepared to counter any ground attack. We hope they do not make such a grave error.”
